Knock Down Center in Vietnam started its operation to strengthen Global Standard Pumps Supply Chain

EBARA CORPORATION (EBARA) is strengthening its global supply chain in order to enhance the competitiveness of Standard Pumps Business in overseas markets. In Vietnam, EBARA has started operation of Knock Down Center, a facility to assemble standard pump products.

1. Background
EBARA is concentrating its efforts to drive Standard Pumps Business in overseas markets to achieve the goal of "Delivering Water to 600 million People Worldwide (approx. 7% of the world's population)" outlined in its Long-Term Vision, E-Vision 2030. As one of the measures, we have established production and supply chain systems to quickly and efficiently deliver our products that satisfy "price, delivery, and quality" requirements in the global market.

2. Summary
The Knock Down Center started its operation in December. The facility maintains a certain level of parts of standard pump products produced at the EBARA Group's plant in Italy, and assembles them into products for shipment. Each EBARA’s Group Company in Southeast Asian countries used to manage their own inventories. By establishing the Knock Down Center, we will be able to control an appropriate inventory of products and efficiently supply products to the Southeast Asian market according to demands, thereby shortening delivery times and reducing inventory.

3. Future Development
EBARA Group will focus on strengthening our Standard Pump Business by enhancing our production and manufacturing capabilities globally. In the meanwhile, EBARA will expand sales in overseas markets by setting up robust and optimal supply chain as the group.

EBARA Group aims at Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through tackling ESG materiality issues based on its long-term vision and mid-term management plan and makes efforts to further increase its corporate value.
